Vox and Partido Popular have reached an agreement in the Balearic Islands Parliament's Institutional and General Affairs Committee this Wednesday, with Santiago Abascal's party accepting an amendment proposed by the PP to allow (again) under-16s years old attend bullfights. This came during a bill registered by Vox in April this year, which sought to amend the Animal Protection Law to allow minors to attend bullfights.
With this new amendment to the law, it is no longer considered a infraccion for minors under the age of 18 to attend bullfights, as long as they are accompanied by an adult or legal guardian under the age of 16. The opinion will be debated again and voted on in the plenary session of the Parliament.
