French MP Aymerich Caron and his minority party, La France Insoumise (LFI), have withdrawn a bill calling for a ban on bullfighting in France, hours before it was due to be debated in the French Parliament. This comes as a surprise considering the large number of debates and media circus that Caron has been involved in over the last few weeks.
In the last few days it was already known that this proposal would not go ahead in France. Perhaps this is the reason in the vote, the reason for Caron's party to withdraw the debate and vote on the prohibitionist proposal from the agenda. A politically ridiculous ending
