France: Dax season 2024 bullranches have been announced

The Dax Bullfighting Commission, chaired by Eric Darrière, has announced the line-up of bullfighters who will fight in one of the most important bullfighting arenas of the season. It stands out once again for its balance between diversity and fan-favourite bulls, and includes several new additions.

The bulls of Victorino Martín and El Freixo are the biggest newcomers, while the bulls of Santiago Domecq, who took part in the historic bullfight of 2024, where one bull was pardoned and two bulls were awarded the lap of honour, Robert Margé, Juan Pedro Domecq, Victoriano del Río and Pedraza de Yeltes, are also included. The bullfights also include the bulls of Murube and the Portuguese bullfight of Campos Peña. In Novillada, the bulls come from Juan Manuel Criado.

Victorino Martín returns to the Dax bullring after a six-year absence, and Julián López "El Juli" makes his debut as a breeder at the Feria, with dates and structure brought forward by Mundotoro, which are as follows:

- Wednesday, 13 August: bullfight

- Thursday, August 14: evening bullfight and morning novillada (without picadors).

- Friday, August 15: Evening bullfight and morning novillada (without picadores).

- Saturday 16 August: evening bullfight and morning novillada (with picadores).

- Sunday 17 August: evening bullfight and morning bullfight.

Toros y Salsa Feria

- Saturday 14 September: evening bullfight and morning rejones bullfight Portuguese style.

- Sunday 15 September: Bullfight.
